In the various variants, we offer you the conversion of the factory spec components to forged pistons (see here: https://bit.ly/3aghkLb) and forged connecting rods (see here: https://bit.ly/3coe2bA)! a = forged piston / connecting rod upgrade (short block delivered): You send s your existing, dismantled short block and we equip it with forged connecting rods and forged pistons. Cylinder head modification phase 1 (V6-2GR)
Cylinder head machining stage 1 V6 2GR engine of Exige V6 (MY2012-today), Evora (MY2009-today), 3-Eleven In order to give the 2GR engine in the Lotus V6 models more power, it was necessary to optimize the restrictive original cylinder head. By CNC-machining the inlet and outlet channels and, above all, machining of the cross-sections in the valve seat area, we were able to significantly increase the flow volume while maintaining the same valve lift. The resulting additional power is heavily dependent on the additional modifications made to the engine. As the standard option we carry out the following processes: The cylinder head is dismantled and cleaned, the inlet and outlet channels and the valve guide are CNC-machined and the valve seat insert is cleaned. Finally, the cylinder head itself is flat planned. We optionally offer (our recommendation) to countersink the valve guides and to cut the valve seat inserts with a contour. This also ensures an optimized flow channel without obstacles and increases the flow area. For the asthets, we can provide the inlet channels with the so-called "golf ball structure" for the final, technical fine-tuning and as variant c). The cylinder head must be sent in / brought to us for processing. Please talk to our team about the currently necessary processing time.

KT Forged Piston Set 2GR-V6
Forged Piston Set V6 The pistons are some of the most important components of an engine. High acceleration forces and the high thermal wear ensure a high force in the component itself. In order to increase the stability, we have specially made for the Toyota V6 engine high-strength forged pistons. These are specially manufactured for us (not identical to other products on the market). In order to eliminate the specific problems of the 2GR-FE standard pistons, especially with supercharged engines, we have changed the pistons design and equipped the piston with a special heat-dissipating surface coating. Especially when planning a performance increase (> 460 hp) you should not ignore the basic components of the engine and use our forged piston to avoid a total engine damage! We supply a set (6 pieces) forged pistons including piston bolt and rings. Compression: 10.5: 1 The dimensions (length) of the forged connecting rods are adapted to these pistons and form a functional package with them. A series piston or other pistons cannot be used with our connecting rod (same as forged pistons cannot be used with standard rods).

When the engine power is increased, the requirement for the connecting rod also increases considerably. To reduce forces, we use high-strength forged components. Uprated valve set for 2GR V6
Uprated Valve Set for 2GR V6 Manufactured to the highest standards, these valves will take just about any reasonable abuse you throw at them. Undercut, back cut, and swirl polished for maximum flow and power at all valve lifts. Intake valves are one piece forged high temperature high nickel stainless steel. This material is stronger and less brittle than the competition’s cheaper 21-2N stainless at high temperatures- critical for forced induction applications. Exhaust valves made from inconel for the ultimate in heat resistance. Deals with high boost forced induction applications easily. 3-stage heat treatment hardens tip and allows the valves to be super strong and super tough - if they do somehow hit the pistons they often bend rather than breaking, minimizing engine damage. CNC finished to strict tolerances for the ultimate in fitment and durability. Advanced nitride treatment process that both hardens the surface of the entire valve and reduces friction between the valve stem and guide.
