Komo-Tec KoBra-4-4-Sportbrakesystem Emira  (Front and rear axles, 378/356 mm) Now our Ko-Bra 4-4 braking system is available for the Lotus Emira, too. We use a 378mm (370mm Standard) Brake disc on the front and a 356mm (350mm Standard) brake disc on the rear axle of the manufacturer PFC (Performance Friction Brakes) with a screwed alloy-pod. The pods are manufactured out of F52 alloy. By using the two-part brake disc, and a larger rotor diameter, thus lower fading tendency. This all is figured without increasing the brake disc weight. The weight of the front disc is 9.0kg. (9.1 Standard) at the rear discs are there ___kg (10,3kg Standard). The original caliper is still used and distances with an adapter. The delivery incl. PFC brake pads front and rear. To keep it a plug'n'play-kit we decided to increase size on the rear belt just slightly because of the new handbrake-caliper. The brakeforce is great by still bigger diameter and better by using high-quality components. Additional advantages of the “floating discs” on the front axle: The new friction rings have a smaller friction surface, so that in combination with optimized brake pads we generate a higher braking capacity and at the same time better heat dissipation. Due to the lower disc temperature, the expansion and thus the unbalance are lower. This (unbalance and temperature) minimizes the transmission of the loads to the brake pot, ensures less tension in the overall system and thus also protects the wheel bearings from increased wear. The grooves serve for better cooling, the removal of the brake dust and at the same time as a wear level indicator. In contrast to the floating discs installed by Lotus in the early Cup models, PFC works with a patented fastening system in order to keep the otherwise clattering discs almost noise-free thanks to spring preload. When replacing the friction disc later, the alloy pot can be reused and only the friction ring itself has to be replaced (much cheaper than the factory discs)! Carbon Spoiler KT-Track for Emira The new lotus Emira is an impressive car with many improvements, that's not to say it can't be made a little bit better...Our first test drives with this car on road and track showed that a propper rear wing would suit the Emira not only visually but also technically. We have therefore started to determine a suitable wing profile after extensive development with CAD/CFD and have also completed the driving tests successfully. The Angel of the Wingblade is adjustable. Sizes: Wingblade approx. 125x29cm, hights from rear-clam approx. 19cm. Exhaust valve control by remote control In the latest Lotus models, the exhaust-valve is controlled by the ECU only and, depending on the model and driving mode, only opens from around 4,500-5,000 rpm in order to meet noise emission standards. Furthermore, the valve is opened to protect the engine at high loads and to reduce the exhaust back pressure. Our module for a separate, electronic valve control now works either completely independently of the control unit and enables you to keep the valve permanently open! Or there is a mode to pick up the factory functions exactly. This control is carried out by remote control hand transmitter.Suitable for both V6 and i4 Emira! Nitron NTR40 Fast Road Suspension Kit for Emira i4 AMG The Fast Road is the entry level NTR shock available as a 1-way adjustable damper. This shock is popular with predominantly road-use customers who drive hard and fast; demanding the best from the chassis but require a degree of comfort. Softer valving and springs combined with the ability to run at original ride heights (and slightly lowered if required) result in a great road shock with superb all-round capabilities. As this shock is part of the NTR range it will perform consistently during a week of blasting round the Nurburgring if required and can be rebuilt to any of the other NTR specifications in the future.The kit comprises four 1-way adjustable dampers with fitted springs. The single adjuster knob affects both bump and rebound for simple setup with a road-biased spec. These shocks are designed to run inverted for reduced unsprung mass and therefore optimum performance.
