for Exige / Evora V6Specially developed for use on the race track and today's volume restrictions on track days, this rear silencer is trimmed to be "quiet".
This is achieved by an additional pre-silencer. Nevertheless, it still convinces (within of its possibilities) with a sporty and robust sound.
A valve control is not used, although we have technically ensured that the exhaust back-pressure also harmonizes in combination with
our performance increases. The rear silencer is available for the both of the factory pipe diameters (variants: "up to 280/350PS" and from
"380PS or upper") and can be installed without any conversion. In addition, we were able to save on the weight of the factory component.Weight comparison:Lotus original rear silencer: 15.9 kg

High Quality stainless steel switchable exhaust silencer for Exige V6/ Evora with 70mm primary tube diameter. Our silencer achieves a sporty and crisp sound and less weight than the original.
The overall aim was to create a sports silencer which achieved three targets:
less weight than standard (15.9kg standard/13.2kg Komo-Tec)significant difference in sound between open and closed exhaust flap. After long development and different prototypes we managed thisNo power loss between open/closed exhaust flap. During testing on the dyno we found that some products on the market have significant differences in power output with the flap in the open or closed position. Our system produces the same power whether the valve is open OR closed.The silencer is a direct 1-to-1 replacement for the original/standard part. The original switch control for the exhaust continues to work as normal.
The tailpipes have a diameter of 85mm and a perforated inner tube.

Our Sports catalyst is a high quality replacement for the original Lotus part.
Developed by HJS Motorsport, our catalysts provides a more optimal flow and the number of cells is reduced to 200cpi for best performance.
Note: This catalyst replaces the downpipe to the silencer! So it doesn’t make sense to buy it seperately, because at factory spec the cat is placed in the manifolds. This part is only possible in conjunction with our sports-manifolds!

To help the Exige S V6 something on the jumps, we offer a manifold system.This has been developed and tested on our dyno, so we have achieved very good results. The manifold is made of stainless steel and the pipe lengths individually matched to the V6 engine. The aim was to obtain an improved torque curve and also a little more peak power. The original Y-pipe is used further. We recommend using our Sportkats. In previous Evora models to model year 2011, the Serienkat can be used, but must be converted welded. The manifold is supplied polished.

The Y-Downpipe is made of stainless steel and can be exchanged to the OEM part. By the use of a bigger sized diameter (63mm) it provides a better performance. Additionally we use a Flexpipe to lower the forces at high strength of the complete system.

Exhaust flap control via remote controlMany Lotus models are now equipped with a flap rear silencer from the factory. Especially with the latest models, the flap is controlled solely by the ECU and only opens at around 4,500-5,000 rpm depending on the model and driving modes to meet noise emission standards. Furthermore, the valve is opened under high load to protect the engine and reduce exhaust back pressure.Our electronic flap control operates completely independently of the control unit and allows you to keep the flap permanently open or closed!Control is via remote control transmitter (Smartlink).Note: We expressly advise against driving at full load with the flap closed when using the standard rear silencer due to the pipe diameters to prevent engine damage!
