Öhlins TTX Suspension for Exige V6 Range
Öhlins top technology, which has been tested and successed for many years at Lotus Exige Cup, is also available for your Exige V6. The original suspension of the Exige certainly offers extremely attractive driving values from factory side, but there is still significant potential in comfort, responsiveness and useability for the racetrack. Aspecially at the 350hp-cars with Bilstein/Eibach-Components there are a few improvements possible.
The TTX-Suspension-Set (twin-tube technology) ensures maximum performance, reliability and durability. Due to the high usage of aluminum components and the integration of all functions in one damper unit, the weight of the overall chassis was also kept very low, like the philosophy of Lotus.
The rebound and compression damping, the chassis height and the spring preload can be adjusted separately. The TTX-Suspension offers you a great wide of options to adjust the Exige according to your individual needs. This provides the driver an optimal balance of comfort, use on roads and the race track. Visually, it is about 15mm lower.
Originally, the Lotus/Öhlins-TTX-Suspension costs around € 8,000! You can get the Suspension from us directly from the manufacturer Öhlins and with a somewhat tighter set-up for clear driving as offered by Lotus at the factory spec and aswell with optimized damper-sizes.
The suspension kit consists of 2x front and 2x rear damper-/spring units and is supplied with all necessary installation parts.
Now there is the long-proven and mature Öhlins top technology for your Exige S V6. The original chassis of the Exige has certainly been very responsive driving values, but especially in the area of comfort, responsiveness and motorsport performance there is still significant potential. The in collaboration with Öhlins Germany we have developed on the Nürburgring Nordschleife 46 Öhlins shock absorbers are adjustable in height and rebound. The vote was "Nordschleife suitability" is selected, an optimal compromise of comfort, road use and track. The chassis is supplied with all necessary mounting parts and may be entered in our house TUV.

Nitron CupSport Suspension Kit
for Lotus Exige V6-Range
The CupSport is based on the very highly regarded 400mm-front and 46mm-rear combinated NTR-Dampers. Aimed specifically at demanding drivers who want ultimate road and track day performance and flexibility and are available with a choice of a 2 or 3 way adjustment. The CupSport offers the ultimate, wide range of independent adjustment for both bump and rebound damping forces (NTR R2way) with the option of further independent control of high and low speed bump control too (NTR R3way). The gas pressurized mono-tube NTR damper system ensures a very high degree of consistency and durability under prolonged and hard road and trakc use. A dual spring system is employed with fast road and track focused main spring rates and helper springs fitted to ensure a good range of ride height adjustment and ultimate traction

Using the superior 46mm piston from the RacePro range of NTR shocks; this kit is designed for serious race use and has been adopted (where regulations permit) in almost every Lotus race series around the world. The kit comprises four 3-way adjustable dampers with fitted springs. Tailored to high-profile drivers, the NTR Race shock’s performance is achieved through accurate control of its 3-way independent damping. Instant feedback is transmitted from the wheels, allowing the limits of traction to be confidently explored.These shocks are designed to run inverted for reduced unsprung mass and therefore optimum performance. Dampers are delivered preset with a full compliment of bearing spacers ready to fit to the car. Nitron NTR40 Fast Road Suspension Kit
The Fast Road is the entry level NTR shock available as a 1-way adjustable damper. This shock is popular with predominantly road-use customers who drive hard and fast; demanding the best from the chassis but require a degree of comfort. Softer valving and springs combined with the ability to run at original ride heights (and slightly lowered if required) result in a great road shock with superb all-round capabilities. As this shock is part of the NTR range it will perform consistently during a week of blasting round the Nurburgring if required and can be rebuilt to any of the other NTR specifications in the future.The kit comprises four 1-way adjustable dampers with fitted springs. The single adjuster knob affects both bump and rebound for simple setup with a road-biased spec. These shocks are designed to run inverted for reduced unsprung mass and therefore optimum performance.

Nitron Clubsport Suspension Kit
for Lotus Exige S V6 Range
The ClubSport Range is based on the already well-proven 40mm-NTR-Dampers, 1-way adjustable. It is aimed specifically at track and race drivers who want ultimate performance and flexibility. Uniquely, the Clubsport has an extremely wide range of adjustment for both bump and rebound damping with the preset ratio optimized for track use. The pressurized mono-tube NTR damper system ensures a very high degree of consistency and durability under prolonged and endurance use. A dual spring system is employed with track fused main spring rates and helper springs fitted to ensure a high degree of ride height adjustment (lowering about 10-30mm) and excellent traction.

Using the superior 46mm piston; the Track Day kit offers the very best endurance and performance available in a 1-way adjustable damper.This is our ultimate Track Day focussed shock produced for the driver who regularly enjoys their track days but is perhaps either still using their car significantly on the road. Designed to be run at a lower ride height and featuring stiffer springs and valving.

Spitfire Toelink-Kitfor Exige V6 and 3-Eleven.
Designed to last the life of the car the new Spitfire Exige V6 and variants toe link kit is stiffer, lighter, and ultimately stronger than the OE setup. The custom designed bearings are fitted with aerospace specification Teflon liners for long term reliability and performance. The fine pitched threads of the new components allow easy and accurate toe setting.Please Note: The kit replaces the outer arm sections on both sides of the vehicle with the exception of the aluminum saddle – if you need this component please contact us.The outer section of the standard OE links is a heavy cast steel bearing arm with a press-in generic plastic lined bearing, these are linked to the outer aluminium bearing saddle with an M12 threaded adjuster, the necessary small section of the adjuster required to fit the arms is a known weak point of the OE toe link.

Uniball Upright-Bushing-Kit „KT-Track“ for Exige V6
(rear axle, lower Upright)
The encapsulated bearings, which form the connection to the upper and lower wishbones in the rear Uprights of the "Exige", can reach their limits in motorsport and on track days.
The high brake-forces (that happens when using semi-slicks), the aerodynamic downforce on the rear axle and driving over the "Kerbs" can lead to considerable axial forces, especially in the lower bearing, that enlarges the clearance and press the bearing out of the hole. (Picture 4ff – of the rear upright after an accident on the racetrack)
We make an approx. calculation of the axial forces at the lower and upper bearing of the Upright and come here ("worst case" scenario) to an axial force in the lower bearing (force Bz) of 1,920 kg and in the upper bearing (force Az) of 960 kg.
The following figures were used for the calculation:
Static wheel load: 375 kg
Dynamic wheel load (2g): 750 kg
Radius of the wheel: 350 mm
Coefficient of friction of the tire 1.35
The standard spec bearings (see sectional drawings) have an edged outer housing, so that the axial forces can only be reduced on the bearing shell made of plastic. Under extreme loads, because of that the plastic can be overloaded.
We have therefore developed a technical solution with a special uniball spherical bush that can absorb radial dynamic forces of up to 9,300 kg and axial forces significantly above the maximum values of our calculation.
We supply a set of bearing bushes (2 pieces) for the rear, lower wishbone. The wishbone/upright itself is not included.
Shock Servicing Öhlins / Nitron (per damper)
Shock Servicing:
A suspension damper is exposed to high thermal and mechanical loads and does a great job keeping the vehicle safe and controlled on the road! The shock absorbers used in your Lotus (refers to Nitron and Öhlins products) are very high-quality components with very low dimensional tolerances, which makes it even more important that all components work well. For this reason, the suspension dampers should be continuously checked and overhauled in order to maintain their function and performance. This is the only way to guarantee 100% performance and maximum reliability.
What is being done:
The service includes labor costs as well as the spare parts required for revision / dismantling. The components are checked for damage, all relevant seals will be replaced and the damper is filled with fresh oil under vacuum. Damaged and / or worn components that are not exchanged as standard are not included. A cost estimate can be done in advance (additional costs, if necessary, see below). Both the Öhlins dampers and the Nitron 2way and 3way dampers are also tested on the test bench.
How is the procedure:
The chassis parts must be cleaned and sent in for service. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee for soiled submissions. The time required for the revision is approx. 2 weeks + shipping time (please inquire in advance if necessary) and should therefore take place outside of the season.
What is the recommendation (manufacturer information):
Every 20-30,000 km for road-use, annually service for racetrack-drivers

The Unibal drop link replaces the existing plastic joints between antil roll bar and front wishbone. The Unibal drop link enables a slack-free movement of the anti roll bar and therefore a more exact performance of the bar and less roll angle.<br>

H&R Wheel SpacersThe alloy spacers are fitted easy between wheel and hub. The spacers are 10mm in the front and 30mm in the rear (per axle). We deliver a full set for Exige V6 Range:
