Uprated alloy water radiator with upgraded cooling capacity. The high-efficiency core measures a height of 45mm and bears extensively more volume compared to the OEM part with 35mm. The side boxes are made of alloy. Those of the OEM radiators are made of plastic and therefore well-known for bursting without premonition. Extensive repair costs are the result.The installation of this radiator requires some slight modifications.This version is recommended for increased power-rated (especially super- and turbo-charged) cars! Does fit to Exige S V6 up to MY2015, but doesn't fit to Exige Sport 350 cars!

The design of the Elise cooling system is not ideal as the K-series engine was designed for a FWD car and the Elise is a RWD car. Specifically designed for the Elise, this remote thermostat can be fitted almost anywhere in the cooling system.The cylinder head takes the brunt of many oscillations in temperature ranges caused by the thermostat constantly opening and closing and very cold water coming back through several metres of pipe work from the front of the car.These temperature variations can cause the head to expand and contract many times ultimately causing head gasket failure.Our remote thermostat alleviates the thermal shock caused by the cold water hitting a hot cylinder head.This kit is for all cars with a Rover K-series engine, produced after 1996/1997! (with the horizontal coolant pipe at the bottom of the engine)

Alloy Header TankBuilt as a direct replacement for the original plastic tank. The plastic one is getting worse, because of UV for example. Already our Alloy-Version looks always fine! We have got three different finishes available: polished, satin black and satin silver. Also we can supply a sight glas as an optional extra,aswell as a high pressure cap (order separately).

Even when you use the correct specified coolant, the waterpump is still subject to corrosion over the years. Certainly when your car has suffered from a headgasket failure, where other substances may get into the coolant channels, the water pump is suffering. This pump will flow 200 litres per minute.
