The Komotec Diagnostic Device is a affordable tool to allow fault code read and clear for the majority of Elise, Exige and Evora from 2006-2022 and covers Engine (EOBD and spanner fault codes), ABS, Automatic transmission, Airbag and TPMS (more are being added as we continue to test). Komo-Tec offers you the optimal upgrade for your Lotus: individual adjustment, more power, more torque and a significantly better response behavior with maximum suitability for everyday use. The ECU is of high specification, feature rich, and fully programmable. On our in-house dynamometer the EMU Black ECU from ECUmaster is a class-leading, stand-alone engine management system that is used for the Operating the most advanced and complex engines on the market.
Depending on the model and specification, the EMU Black controls the fuel supply, the ignition angle and all other auxiliary systems (electronic throttle valve, variable valve and stroke control, as well as traction and DPM stability control programs). The broadband lambda control and a MAP sensor offer maximum flexibility at lower costs, so that no external or additional control systems for signal conditioning and associated wiring are required.
For the Toyota 2ZZ and 2ZR engines * (with electronic throttle valve) there is a "plug-and-play" solution with no additional wiring harness is required. The control unit can communicate via CANBUS with all external CAN protocol devices including ABS and display systems.
The solid construction meets IP65 housing standards, so that the ECU can also be used in the Lotus and under difficult operating conditions can be used. The integrated data logging offers extensive diagnostic and optimization functions. The extensive and functional software allows complete control of the control unit and allows a variety of functions to be configured for the engine. Many features and fully programmable, the new ECU is a class-leading, standalone engine management system designed to operate the most advanced and complex engines on the market.The EMU Pro16 ECU controls the fuel supply, the ignition angle, all engine-related parameters and also all other auxiliary systems such as the electronic throttle valve, the variable camshaft adjustment, variable fuel and water pump of the Exige 410/430 models, the Lotus-specific air conditioning control, as well as traction and DPM stability control programs, communication with the ABS/ESP system of the Lotus models is fully retained (an individual firmware version from Komo-Tec enables this function) and full OBD functionality is guaranteed. So all the functions of your Lotus are preserved.In contrast to the previously used Emu Black, the EMU Pro16 can control all 4 camshafts and works with two broadband lambda sensors.
