Uprated Fuelpump
This fuel pump is a direct replacement for the original part. Although the performance compared to the OE part is improved, we do not recommend using these units for engines with more than 260PS.
Although the device is similar to the original, it is a modern system with improved design.
The device uses an eductor to pump fuel from the tank into the reservoir, unlike the OE unit, which uses a portion of the pump for this task.
The pump itself has a vane drive and is more efficient than the original centrifugal pump.
The sensor used to measure the amount of fuel in the tank is a new type of "substrate sensor," as opposed to the conventional wire-wound sensor. The major advantage of the "substrate sensor" is that it has no wear and tear, unlike the conventional wire-wound sensor, which experiences wear and tear over time.
This not only replaces the pump but is a completely new unit with a base filter, level sensor, gasket, etc.
In other words... this is a true plug-and-play replacement!
The fuel pump is only for Elise/Exige Mk1, not for MK2 or Toyota.
