Nitron R3 ClubSport suspension for Lotus Emira V6
The Nitron R3 ClubSport suspension combines proven damping technology from motorsport with extensive adjustment options for performance-oriented driving and track days. It offers precise feedback, controlled vehicle movements, and high consistency under load.
The R3 platform allows for targeted tuning of the damping to the vehicle, tires, and intended use. Reservoirs support thermal stability even under demanding track conditions.
Four variants allow the selection between manual and electronic damper adjustment as well as an additional lift function for the front axle. The approval options vary depending on the version.
Four variants to choose from
Standard: R3 FastRoad with independently adjustable rebound as well as low-speed and high-speed compression. Registration can be guaranteed in-house. The costs are borne by the buyer.
Standard with FAL: Manually adjustable R1 FastRoad with hydraulic front axle lift and 25 mm lift. Motorsport part without street approval.
Elec-TRON: R3 FastRoad with electronic damping control and additional manual low-speed and high-speed compression adjustment. Includes control unit, wiring harness and control element. Motorsport part without street approval.
Elec-TRON with FAL: Electronic R3 damping control with manual compression base setting, combined with hydraulic front axle lift and 25 mm lift. Includes control unit, wiring harness and control element. Motorsport part without street approval.
Standard – three independently adjustable damping ranges
The standard version offers independent adjustment of:
Rebound stage: Influences the damping during rebound.
Low-speed compression stage: Influences the damping during slow compression movements, for example, during braking, acceleration, and cornering.
High-speed compression stage: Influences the damping during fast compression movements, for example, over short bumps.
“Low-speed” and “high-speed” refer to the movement speed of the damper, not the vehicle speed.
The separate adjustment options allow for differentiated adaptation to different track conditions, tires, and personal preferences.
Elec-TRON – electronic control with manual compression stage base setting
The Elec-TRON version enhances the R3 technology with an electronically controlled valve in each damper. This influences rebound and compression stages and allows for individual control of the four wheels.
The low-speed and high-speed compression stages remain additionally manually adjustable. These settings form the basis for the electronic control.
The included Nitron DCU takes over the central damper control. Sensors capture vehicle movements and accelerations. In the adaptive operating modes, the damping is continuously adjusted to the respective driving situation.
Six characteristic maps are available via the control element:
Three fixed characteristic maps: Comfort, Sport, and Sport Plus
Three adaptive characteristic maps: Comfort, Sport, and Sport Plus
The Elec-TRON variants are delivered as a complete system including DCU control unit, wiring harness, and control element.
FAL – 25 mm stroke at the push of a button
The optional Nitron Front Axle Lift System temporarily raises the front of the vehicle hydraulically. The version for the Lotus Emira V6 offers 25 mm of lift. Operation is via a button press from the interior.
The additional ground clearance makes it easier to drive over speed bumps and to navigate steep driveways or ramps. After lowering, the set ride height is available again.
The system features a hydraulic high-pressure pump, a switch with an integrated warning light, and an acoustic warning function in the interior.
FAL can be combined with both the standard chassis and Elec-TRON.
Compensating tank for high thermal stability
The R3 platform operates depending on the application with directly mounted or hose-connected reservoirs. These support thermal stability and a constant damping function under high loads.
The arrangement of the reservoirs is based on the vehicle-specific design and the available installation conditions.
Motorsport technology and high-quality materials
Large-dimensioned pistons and high-strength piston rods form the basis of the R3 construction. It is designed for precise damper control, direct feedback, and reliable function under demanding conditions.
High-quality materials, hard-anodized components, and titanium fasteners combine low weight with corrosion resistance and durability.
In versions with hose-connected reservoirs, Nitron's Bi-Axis connections facilitate the alignment of the lines and installation in tight spaces.
Custom manufacturing and long-term serviceability
Each R3 kit is handcrafted to order. Springs and damper tuning are tailored to the vehicle and intended use.
The dampers are fully serviceable and can be professionally overhauled if necessary. This enables long-term use and restoration of the intended damping function.

Registration and approval
Standard version without FAL: The registration of the chassis can be guaranteed by us in-house. The costs incurred for this will be borne by the buyer and will be calculated separately.
Standard with FAL, Elec-TRON as well as Elec-TRON with FAL: Motorsport parts – without street approval! Not permitted in the area of the StVO/StVZO!
