KOMO-TEC KTune V2 ECU tuning software for Lotus
The KOMO-TEC KTune V2 software enables targeted optimization of the standard engine control unit of numerous Lotus models from 2006. All software versions are developed in-house and are based on years of experience with Lotus vehicles, extensive development work, and numerous dynamometer runs.
With our latest programming and development tool, we can access nearly all engine control units used by Lotus. This allows relevant maps to be edited directly and the changes to be implemented in a controlled manner – without trial-and-error changes made on a whim.
In-house development at KOMO-TEC
Our Lotus software is developed entirely in-house. We do not merely rely on pre-made standard files, but instead create defined software versions for different models and vehicle configurations.
The inventory of these tested calibrations is continuously expanded. The current generation of our software versions is referred to as KTune V2.
Each KTune V2 data set is created according to fixed technical specifications and is tailored to a specific combination of vehicle, engine control unit, and installed components.
Access to nearly all Lotus engine control units
Our current tuning tool allows programming access to nearly 100% of the engine control units used by Lotus. However, the exact compatibility depends on the vehicle model, year of manufacture, control unit version, and the existing software version.
Before ordering, we therefore check whether a suitable KTune V2 software is available for the respective vehicle and which variant fits the existing hardware configuration.
Customizable maps and functions
Depending on the vehicle and the engine control unit used, the following areas can be edited, among others:

KTune V2 for shipping
For vehicles that are not tuned on-site, we offer a selection of fixed defined and tested KTune V2 software variants.
These datasets have been developed for specific vehicle and hardware configurations. This ensures a reproducible and technically comprehensible software adjustment.
Custom adjustments made according to customer specifications cannot be offered for shipping.In shipping, we exclusively select the appropriate variant from the available KTune V2 datasets that matches the specified vehicle configuration.
Individual tuning at KOMO-TEC
A fully individual mapping adjustment is only possible in-house. The software and relevant operating parameters can be adjusted to the actual vehicle setup and verified under controlled conditions.
This variant is particularly recommended for:
Individual engine conversions
Unusual hardware combinations
Modified compressors or boost pressures
Heavily modified intake and exhaust systems
Motorsport vehicles
Specific requirements for response behavior and power delivery
The individual tuning is a separate service and must be agreed upon in advance.

Based on this information, we will check which KTune-V2 dataset can be offered. Reliable assignment is not possible with incomplete or incorrect information.

Not every software variant is compatible with every vehicle or hardware configuration. Availability must therefore be checked before ordering.
The KTune-V2 data sets offered for shipping are exclusively intended for the vehicle configuration specified at the time of ordering. If components are changed later, the suitability of the software must be re-evaluated.
The actual achievable performance depends on the condition of the vehicle, the components installed, the quality of the fuel, and other technical factors. Therefore, a specific increase in performance cannot be guaranteed in general.
Changes to the engine control can affect the operating permit, emissions behavior, and the legality of the vehicle in public road traffic. The legal requirements must be checked before use.
