Performance phase S280 for Lotus Exige with supercharger
The performance phase S280 is available as a complete kit including installation and dyno run with performance protocol. It includes a water-cooled intercooler, an adapted engine control, a Reverie Carbon Airbox, special injectors, and a header with sports catalyst.
A significant limitation of the supercharged Lotus engines is the cooling of the intake air. The intake air temperatures measured by us of over 80 °C impair performance development and lead to corresponding adjustments by the engine control.
The original intercooler is replaced by a new, water-cooled intercooler. An electric water pump circulates the coolant between the intercooler and an additional heat exchanger at the front of the vehicle. Lowering the intake air temperature allows for performance-optimized tuning of the engine control unit.
The Reverie Carbon Airbox completely replaces the standard airbox and ensures targeted fresh air supply as well as a sportier intake sound. The housing for the mass air flow sensor is integrated.
With the coordinated components, we achieve a power of 282 hp at 8,600 rpm and a torque of 245 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
To achieve the specified power, a suitable sports exhaust is required. The kit requires at least Super Plus with RON 98.

Important note regarding the exhaust system
A suitable sports exhaust is necessary for the specified additional power. Our KT sports exhaust is tailored to this configuration. Certain exhaust systems from other manufacturers can also be used after consultation.
The stock exhaust and the Lotus Stage 1 cannot be combined with the included header with sports catalytic converter due to design reasons.
Registration
Registration via individual acceptance is possible on-site. The costs of the individual acceptance are borne by the buyer.
With an increase in performance, the CO₂ value assigned to the vehicle may change. This may also affect the amount of vehicle tax.
Important application note
The kit requires fuel with at least RON 98.
Installation and tuning are carried out as part of the complete offer. The final performance measurement is documented by a dynamometer run with performance report.
