Pro Alloy Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank for Lotus Elise, Exige, and 2-Eleven
The coolant expansion tank developed and manufactured by Pro Alloy replaces the standard plastic tank with a robust aluminum construction. With a total volume of 1,700 ml, it offers nearly double the volume of the original tank with 900 ml.
The handcrafted and precisely TIG-welded design is built for long durability. The black powder coating in Pro-Black finish protects the surface and provides a discreet look in the engine bay.
Direct replacement for the original tank: The standard mounting points and hoses are reused. No modifications are required.
Advantages over the standard tank
Plastic expansion tanks can become brittle over time due to repeated temperature and pressure changes. Sun exposure in the engine bay can further accelerate this aging.
The aluminum construction offers a durable alternative. The larger container volume creates additional coolant and expansion reserves – especially for vehicles used on track days and racing circuits as well as in high outside temperatures.
