KOMO-TEC stainless steel exhaust pipe 2-in-1 for Lotus Exige V6 and Evora
The KOMO-TEC 2-in-1 exhaust pipe replaces the stock exhaust pipe in a direct 1:1 exchange. It is made entirely of stainless steel and has a larger pipe diameter of 63 mm than the stock part.
The flow-optimized design combines the exhaust flows of both cylinder banks and improves exhaust throughput. This makes the exhaust pipe particularly suitable for sporty and performance-enhanced vehicles.
Direct replacement of the stock part
The stainless steel exhaust pipe is designed as a direct replacement for the stock part. The stock installation position and existing connection points are retained.
This allows the stock exhaust pipe to be replaced without fundamental changes to the vehicle or exhaust system. However, the compatibility of the adjacent exhaust components must still be checked before installation.
Larger pipe diameter
The pipe diameter of 63 mm reduces flow restrictions compared to the smaller stock part. This allows the exhaust gases to be routed through the exhaust pipe with less resistance.

Flow-optimized 2-in-1 design
The exhaust flows from the two cylinder banks are combined in a 2-in-1 pipe layout. The geometry is designed for a smooth transition and improved flow.
Especially in combination with headers, sport catalysts, sport mufflers, and performance enhancements, the downpipe is a sensible addition to the exhaust system.
Integrated flex section
An integrated flex section in the downpipe compensates for engine movements as well as thermally induced length changes within the exhaust system.
This reduces stresses and load peaks that could otherwise be transferred to weld seams, flanges, and adjacent components. It supports a low-stress installation and relieves the entire exhaust system during operation.
Stainless steel construction
The complete manufacturing from stainless steel offers high temperature and corrosion resistance. The downpipe is therefore designed for the increased loads of sportily used vehicles.

Important installation note
Installation must be carried out by a qualified specialist. Before installation, flanges, sealing surfaces, fastening elements, and adjacent components must be checked for condition and compatibility.
After installation, the exhaust system must be aligned without tension and checked for sufficient distances to the body, heat protection parts, and chassis components. Finally, all connections must be checked for tightness.
