Important installation note

The overhaul of a brake caliper involves a safety-relevant component and may only be carried out by a qualified specialist.

Before installation, the brake caliper housing, pistons, cylinder bores, and sealing surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and checked for corrosion, scratches, wear, and other damage. Damaged components must not be reused.

After installation, the brake system must be properly filled and completely bled. Subsequently, a leak and function test as well as a brake pressure check are required.
