Tillett B10 Carbon seat set for Lotus Emira
The Tillett B10 is an extremely lightweight carbon sports seat that perfectly fits the interior of the Lotus Emira with its high-quality motorsport look. The set includes one seat for the driver and one for the passenger, as well as the appropriate seat rails, Emira-specific covers, and an eliminator kit.
The anatomically shaped seat shell offers significantly more lateral support than the standard seat. The driver and passenger are reliably held in position even during high lateral accelerations. This allows for a more direct perception of vehicle movements and reduces bracing against the steering wheel.
Lower seating position and more space
The special installation position significantly lowers the driver and passenger. This creates more head and legroom as well as a sportier seating position.
Especially taller drivers benefit from the additional space. Even on track days, the lower position provides more headroom for driving with a helmet and improves integration in vehicles with a roll bar or roll cage.
Extreme weight reduction
The standard seats of the Lotus Emira weigh about 52 kg in total. A Tillett B10 seat shell weighs only about 4.5 kg, so both seat shells weigh only about 9 kg.
This results in a weight saving of up to 43 kg or more than 82 % when purely comparing the seat shells. The lower weight and the deeper seating position reduce the mass in the upper vehicle area and support a lower center of gravity.
The actual installation weight and the final weight saving depend on seat rails, coverings, and the respective vehicle equipment.
Designed for sporty driving
Tillett has many years of experience in the development and manufacturing of carbon seat shells for motorsport. The B10 combines a stable seating position with a body-conforming shell while allowing sufficient freedom of movement in the shoulder area.
Due to the precise contour, the seat requires comparatively little padding. This keeps the driving feel direct without sacrificing an ergonomic seating position.

Important mounting and safety note
The included eliminator kit prevents the warning light caused by the removal or separation of standard seat components. However, it does not replace any missing airbag, occupancy detection, or retention function.
Before installation, it must be checked which standard safety systems are affected. The installation must be carried out professionally and taking into account the used belt system as well as all safety-relevant components.
