KT Sport air filter for Lotus Emira i4
The KT Sport air filter was specifically developed for the Lotus Emira i4 with a 2.0-liter AMG turbo engine. It replaces the standard air filter and can be installed without modifications to the original air filter housing.
The filter is a custom-made product exclusively manufactured for KOMO-TEC and is currently offered only by us. Modern filter materials combine high filtration efficiency with maximum possible airflow.
Easy replacement of the standard filter
The KT Sport air filter matches the vehicle-specific dimensions of the standard filter insert. This allows it to be directly inserted into the existing air filter housing.
No modifications to the airbox, intake hoses, or mounting points are required.

The sport air filter alone does not generate a defined increase in performance. Its main advantage lies in optimized airflow and long-term reusability.
Unoiled filter material
Unlike many conventional sports air filters, the KT sports air filter operates completely without filter oil. Even after cleaning, the filter material must not be oiled.
This eliminates the risk of excess filter oil entering the intake tract and depositing on the mass air flow sensor. Such deposits can cause measurement errors, faulty sensor signals, or disturbances in engine operation.
Cleanable and permanently reusable
The filter does not need to be replaced as part of a regular maintenance interval. With proper cleaning and care, it is designed for permanent reuse.
This reduces material consumption and long-term maintenance costs compared to regularly replaced paper filters.

Cleaning and care instructions
The filter must be cleaned according to the intended care instructions. After cleaning, it must be completely dried before being reinstalled in the vehicle.
The filter must not be oiled. Inappropriate cleaning agents, compressed air from a short distance, or mechanical damage can impair the filter medium.
Important assembly note
Before assembly, the air filter housing and the intake tract must be checked for contamination and damage. The filter must sit completely and without tension in the designated holder so that no unfiltered air can flow past the filter medium.
