Nitron NTR Race 3-Way Coilover Suspension
The Nitron NTR Race 3-Way Coilover Suspension is designed for professional track and motorsport use. It is one of the most successful suspension systems in Lotus motorsport and benefits from years of development work as well as numerous race applications worldwide.
The proven 46-mm RacePro Piston Technology allows for precise damping control and provides direct feedback from the vehicle. Thanks to the independently adjustable rebound stage and the separate high and low-speed compression stages, the suspension can be precisely tuned to the vehicle, track, tires, and personal driving style.
Independent 3-Way Damping Adjustment
The NTR Race offers three independent adjustment options:
High-Speed Compression Stage
Low-Speed Compression Stage
Rebound Stage (Rebound)
The separate adjustment allows for particularly differentiated tuning. While the low-speed compression stage mainly influences vehicle movements during braking, acceleration, and cornering, the high-speed compression stage controls rapid damper movements, for example, when driving over bumps or curbs.
The rebound stage controls how quickly the wheel rebounds after compression. This allows traction, vehicle balance, and feedback to be specifically adapted to different operating conditions.
Inverse damper construction
The dampers are designed in an inverted construction. This upside-down design helps reduce unsprung masses while simultaneously increasing the stiffness of the wheel guidance.
The result is a more precise response behavior, improved vehicle control, and more direct feedback – especially at high cornering speeds and during rapid load changes.
Improved traction through helper springs
Helper springs on the front and rear axles keep the main springs securely preloaded even when the suspension is fully extended. The increased rebound travel at the rear axle supports mechanical grip and improves traction, especially when accelerating out of corners and on uneven sections of track.

Important installation and tuning note
The installation and tuning of the suspension require extensive technical knowledge and must be carried out by a qualified specialist.
After installation, a professional vehicle height and wheel load adjustment as well as a complete wheel alignment are required. The factory baseline setting serves as the starting point and should be adjusted according to vehicle weight, tire, track conditions, and driving style.
