Chassis Fresh-up Screw and Nut Kit for Lotus

New chassis bushings and freshly cleaned components – but still old, oxidized, or already deformed fastening screws? The chassis fresh-up kit allows for the comprehensive replacement of old chassis fasteners with new, vehicle-specific assembled fastening elements.

The set contains a total of 26 screws or bolts and the corresponding self-locking Nyloc nuts and washers.

According to the Lotus specification

The included screws and bolts correspond in design and specification to the fastening elements that Lotus used in vehicle production.

The essential difference lies in the more resilient surface coating. This provides improved protection against corrosion and ensures that the renewed chassis fasteners remain in good condition over the long term.

Sorted and clearly labeled

All fasteners are sorted by installation position, packaged in separate bags, and labeled accordingly.

This allows for quick identification during assembly of which screws, nuts, and washers need to be used at each position. It facilitates assignment and reduces the risk of confusion.

For different stabilizer mounts

Depending on the model year and vehicle configuration, different stabilizer mounts were used:

• Stabilizer mount with nylon clips

• Stabilizer mount with rubber bearings

The kit contains the required screws for both possible versions. Therefore, it is suitable regardless of which of the intended stabilizer mounts is installed on the vehicle.

Depending on the vehicle configuration, not all fasteners included in the kit may be needed.

Chassis bushings, joints, and other chassis components are not included unless explicitly listed separately.

Important assembly note

Chassis bolts are safety-relevant components. Installation must only be carried out by a qualified specialist.

The screws must be mounted in the designated position according to their labeling and tightened with the torque specified by Lotus. Self-locking Nyloc nuts may not be reused after disassembly.

After completion of the work, all chassis connections must be checked. Depending on the scope of work, a complete wheel alignment is required afterwards.
