Unlike the standard steel tank, the ProAlloy tank is made of aluminum. This reduces the component weight and prevents corrosion of the tank. At the same time, the risk of corrosion-related contaminants entering the fuel and burdening the fuel filter decreases.
Zuverlässige Kraftstoffversorgung bei sportlicher Fahrweise
The tank is filled with Type-4-FIA safety foam and features integrated baffles. This construction reduces the sloshing of fuel during acceleration, braking, and fast cornering.
This supports a reliable fuel supply to the engine even during sporty driving. At the same time, the safety foam reduces the uncontrolled movement of fuel within the tank.
Available tank sizes

Empfehlung und Fahrzeugzuordnung
Lotus Elise Mk1 und Mk2
For the Lotus Elise Mk1 and Mk2, we generally recommend the 48-liter version. It already offers a significant increase in tank volume and can be installed with relatively little effort.
The installation of the 60-liter tank is associated with a significantly higher installation effort for these models. This version should therefore only be chosen if the largest possible tank volume is explicitly desired and the additional installation effort has been taken into account.
Lotus models with Toyota engine
For the compatible Lotus models with Toyota engine, either the 54 or the 60-liter tank can be used depending on the vehicle configuration.
Lotus Exige V6
For the Lotus Exige V6, the tank is exclusively available for the following models:
Lotus Exige S V6
Lotus Exige Sport 350
Not suitable for other Exige V6 versions.
The exact compatibility and the required installation scope must be checked based on the specific vehicle before ordering.
Vehicle-specific installation
The ProAlloy aluminum tank is mounted at the standard mounting points of the vehicle. The original fuel pump can still be used.
Eine passende Aufnahme für die serienmäßige Kraftstoffpumpe ist im Lieferumfang enthalten und nutzt ebenfalls die dafür vorgesehenen Originalpositionen.

Important note on usable tank volume
The specified tank volume describes the constructive total volume of the component. Depending on installation position, safety foam, baffles, pump arrangement, and operating conditions, it may not be possible to extract the entire contained fuel amount.
The actual refillable fuel amount when refueling may therefore differ from the specified tank volume. Full utilization of the nominal 48, 54, or 60 liters cannot be guaranteed.
Important installation note
The installation concerns the fuel system and must be carried out by a qualified specialist. After installation, all connections, lines, and fastenings must be properly checked, and the entire system must be tested for leaks.
Especially with the 60-liter tank, the installation effort may be significantly higher depending on the vehicle model.
Important approval note
Motorsport part – without general street approval!
The fuel tank is not approved for use within the scope of the StVO/StVZO in its delivery condition. A registration through individual acceptance can be carried out during installation and subsequent acceptance at our facility.
Use in public road traffic is only permitted after successful acceptance and registration.
