KOMO-TEC TwinTemp-Box for the stack display

The KOMO-TEC TwinTemp-Box expands the standard water temperature display in the stack display of the Lotus Elise Mk1 and Exige Mk1 with the important display of engine oil temperature. This allows both relevant operating temperatures to be monitored directly via the existing display – without an additional display instrument in the interior.

The TwinTemp-Box offers three selectable display modes: water temperature, oil temperature, or an automatic switch between both values at intervals of ten seconds.

The module is mounted in the trunk. The original cable of the water temperature sensor is connected to the TwinTemp-Box, and the pre-assembled cable of the box is then connected to the sensor. For measuring the oil temperature, the standard oil drain plug is replaced with the supplied, adapted version including temperature sensor.

Thanks to the pre-assembled cable harnesses and matching connectors, installation is possible with normal technical skill. Additional cable routing into the interior is not required. If desired, the installation can also be professionally carried out by KOMO-TEC.
