ARP cylinder head stud kit for Toyota 2GR-FE – version with flange
The ARP Cylinder Head Stud Kit is the high-strength alternative to the factory cylinder head bolts of the Toyota 2GR-FE engine. It was designed for performance-enhanced vehicles as well as the high thermal and mechanical loads during track days and motorsport.
The studs made from high-strength ARP2000 material allow for reliable and even clamping of the cylinder head. This supports a secure seal between the cylinder head, cylinder head gasket, and engine block even at high cylinder pressures.
This version has a flange on the engine block side. The studs are screwed in until the flange makes contact, ensuring they all protrude equally from the engine block.
For 2GR-FE engines with approximately 470 HP, during an engine overhaul, and for vehicles regularly used on the racetrack, we recommend installing the high-strength ARP studs.
Unlike the factory cylinder head bolts, the studs do not necessarily need to be replaced during an engine overhaul. If they are properly inspected, undamaged, and within the manufacturer's specifications, they can be reused.
