Ferodo DS2500 brake pads for the front axle of the Lotus Elise and Exige
The Ferodo DS2500 brake pads are designed for the front axle of selected Lotus Elise and Exige four-cylinder models with standard 2-piston brake calipers.
The pad compound combines a medium friction value with a consistent friction value profile and high temperature resistance. This makes it particularly suitable for lightweight sports cars, sporty driving styles, and track days.
Consistent braking performance up to 500 °C
The Ferodo DS2500 compound operates in a temperature range of approx. 100 to 500 °C. The flat friction value profile ensures predictable and controllable braking behavior over a wide temperature range.
Even under repeated heavy braking, the pad remains fade stable up to approx. 500 °C. At the same time, the wear of the brake pad and disc is relatively low in relation to the performance offered.

Brake discs, mounting parts, brake fluid, and other installation accessories are not included in the scope of delivery unless expressly stated otherwise.
Important installation and break-in notice
Brake pads are safety-relevant components and must be installed by a qualified specialist.
Before installation, brake discs, calipers, guides, and mounting parts must be checked for condition and suitability. After installation, the brake pads must be bedded in according to the manufacturer's specifications.
