Drexler Lamella Limited-Slip Differential for Lotus V6
The Drexler Lamella Limited-Slip Differential improves power transfer between the drive wheels and provides more traction when accelerating out of corners. Especially in vehicles with increased torque and in sporty use, it supports controlled power delivery and precise handling.
For the Lotus V6 models Exige V6, Evora, and 3-Eleven, the version has been tailored to the requirements of these vehicles in close collaboration with KOMO-TEC.
Drexler develops and manufactures its differentials in Germany. The motorsport-tested lamella technology is designed for high load capacity, precise function, and long service life.
Functionality
In an open differential, a drive wheel with low traction can limit the usable power transfer. The Drexler Lamella Limited-Slip Differential counteracts this effect with its tuned friction lamellas and allows for better utilization of available traction.
Depending on the vehicle and application, the locking effect can be individually adjusted – from sporty street use to track use.

Important installation note
The transmission must be opened for installation. The assembly and adjustment must be carried out by a qualified specialist.
We recommend renewing the differential bearings during installation.
The additional material cost is low compared to a later re-dismantling of the transmission. Therefore, the simultaneous bearing replacement is a sensible measure for the reliability and longevity of the drivetrain.
