Nitron NTR Race 3-way adjustable coilover with special KOMO-TEC tuning
The Nitron NTR Race 3-way adjustable coilover has been developed for demanding racetrack and motorsport use. The variant offered here features special KOMO-TEC tuning and is specifically tailored to the requirements of the respective Lotus models.
The suspension combines proven Nitron motorsport technology with our long-standing experience in the development and tuning of performance-oriented Lotus vehicles. As a result, you receive not a universal standard suspension, but a version specifically configured by KOMO-TEC.
The 46 mm RacePro piston technology allows for precise damping control and provides particularly direct feedback from the vehicle. Thanks to the independent 3-way adjustment, the suspension can be finely tuned to the vehicle setup, track, tires, and personal driving style.
Special KOMO-TEC tuning
The basic tuning of this suspension variant has been specifically developed by KOMO-TEC for sporty use in Lotus vehicles. It takes into account the special requirements of lightweight mid-engine vehicles and provides a proven starting point for individual fine-tuning.
Depending on the intended use, the settings can then be specifically adjusted to vehicle weight, aerodynamics, tires, track, and personal driving style.
Independent 3-way adjustment
The NTR Race allows for separate adjustment of:
- Low-Speed Compression Stage
- High-Speed Compression Stage
- Rebound Stage
The Low-Speed Compression Stage primarily affects the body movements during braking, accelerating, and cornering. The High-Speed Compression Stage allows for targeted tuning of the response behavior during rapid spring movements, such as when driving over bumps and curbs.
The independently adjustable Rebound Stage controls the extension of the damper and enables precise adjustment of traction, balance, and driving stability.
Inverse Damper Design
The dampers are designed in an inverted configuration. This upside-down construction reduces unsprung masses while simultaneously increasing the stiffness of the wheel guidance.
The result is a particularly direct response behavior with improved traction, high steering precision, and reliable vehicle control even under demanding racetrack conditions.
Helper Springs for additional mechanical grip
Helper Springs on the front and rear axles keep the main springs securely preloaded even during full extension. The increased extension travel at the rear axle supports mechanical grip and particularly improves contact with the road when accelerating out of corners.

Important installation and tuning note
The installation and tuning of the suspension require extensive technical knowledge and must be carried out by a qualified specialist.
After installation, vehicle height, wheel loads, axle geometry, and clearance must be properly checked and adjusted. The KOMO-TEC base setting serves as the starting point. Further adjustments should be made gradually, taking into account vehicle weight, tire selection, track conditions, and intended use.
