Larini stainless steel pipe with flex section for Lotus Elise S1

The stainless steel pipe with integrated flex section replaces the standard steel pipe of the Lotus Elise S1. It offers a corrosion-resistant alternative and features a modified welding of the flex section compared to the original part.

Replacement in case of leaks

The standard pipe can particularly develop leaks in the area of the flex section and at the manifold flange. This can allow hot exhaust gases to enter the engine compartment. Increased noise and loss of power may be the result.

Replacing a damaged pipe restores a tight exhaust flow, provided that the adjacent components and connection points are also intact.

Stainless steel construction with revised flex section

The pipe is made of stainless steel. The flex section is welded differently than in the standard component. This construction is designed for longer durability compared to the original part.

The integrated flex section absorbs movements within the exhaust system and reduces the transmission of mechanical stresses to adjacent components.
