Exhaust flap control via remote control
Many Lotus models are now equipped with a flap rear silencer from the factory. Especially with the latest models, the flap is controlled solely by the ECU and only opens at around 4,500-5,000 rpm depending on the model and driving modes to meet noise emission standards. Furthermore, the valve is opened under high load to protect the engine and reduce exhaust back pressure.
Our electronic flap control operates completely independently of the control unit and allows you to keep the flap permanently open or closed!
Control is via remote control transmitter (Smartlink).
Note: We expressly advise against driving at full load with the flap closed when using the standard rear silencer due to the pipe diameters to prevent engine damage! However, using the Komo-Tec rear silencer with the exhaust flap closed under full load is advantageous due to identical pipe diameters (closed/open) without disadvantages!

- Lotus Evora and Evora S (with factory flap rear silencer),
- Lotus Evora 400, Sport 410, GT410, GT430
- Lotus Exige S V6, Sport 350, Sport 380, Sport 410, Cup 430
- Lotus Elise from 2004 with Komo-Tec flap rear silencer (work in progress)
