V6 2GR engine of Exige V6 (MY2012-today), Evora (MY2009-today), 3-Eleven

In order to give the 2GR engine in the Lotus V6 models more power, it was necessary to optimize the restrictive original cylinder head. By CNC-machining the inlet and outlet channels and, above all, machining of the cross-sections in the valve seat area, we were able to significantly increase the flow volume while maintaining the same valve lift. The resulting additional power is heavily dependent on the additional modifications made to the engine.

As the standard option we carry out the following processes: The cylinder head is dismantled and cleaned, the inlet and outlet channels and the valve guide are CNC-machined and the valve seat insert is cleaned. Finally, the cylinder head itself is flat planned. We optionally offer (our recommendation) to countersink the valve guides and to cut the valve seat inserts with a contour. This also ensures an optimized flow channel without obstacles and increases the flow area. For the asthets, we can provide the inlet channels with the so-called "golf ball structure" for the final, technical fine-tuning and as variant c).

The cylinder head must be sent in / brought to us for processing. Please talk to our team about the currently necessary processing time.
