This phase bases on the OEM "Lotus supercharger-kit". The kit means an excellent entry-level solution to the world of charged-engines. Compared with the standard Elise with 192 PS N/A engine, the torque increases noticably and the power-output gets also uprated.
The kit is predestinated for sportive highway-use. The main focus lays upon a perceptible increase of torque instead of targeting a maximised horsepower-output. Lotus developed this kit without any intercooler, therefore it´s not recommended for trackday use.
The switchpoint of the inlet camshaft will be lowered to 4200 revs. Hereby, a linear power-curve is archieved - furthermore, the "acceleration hole" between 4000 to 6000 revs gets eliminated.
A one-year Lotus-warranty on the contained parts is included. Additionally, the OEM-warranty of the car remains unchanged!
