In order to improve the originally fairly long ratio of the final drive of the Elise 111R/Exige MK 2 and therefore achieve a more dynamic performance, we have developed a new final drive with a ratio of 5,0:1 (Original 4.63:1).

The gear ratio is shortened and the agility of the car is improved considerably. Due to the slightly higher tooth clearance it is possible that the gear box is marginally noisier than the original.

The gear box has to be dismantelled and opened. A gear diagram is attached for illustrative purposes.
