In summer 1997,when Daniel Koblitschek founded KOMO-TEC GmbH he had just finished his engineering education  with the strong intention to combine his automotive passion with his business career.

The tuning of „Lotus Twin-Cam“ engines for classic racing cars was the begin of an intensive, successful relation with the brand and the myth of Lotus.

To delight the customer with craftsmanship, quality and the development of tailor-made technical solutions was the company objectiv from the very first day.

Modern cars with their high technical complexity require a broad, specific technical knowledge. Therefore KOMO-TEC work in close cooperation with technical consultans, scientists and a network of experts in the suppliers field.

In 2001 KOMO-TEC mooved to new modern premises and completed one year later the engine test center with an electronically controlled „Schenck“ dynamometer.
